Community - Being a part of something that is bigger than is possible through isolated efforts that is really GOOD for everyone and everything, with a mission to bring healing and transformation to others, with an emphasis on education, in particular for womand and girls.
Submissions - Opportunities to submit, publish and teach your work (writings - illustrations - audio - video) for publications, books, journals, workshops, blogs and collaborations.
Contribute to the on-line Cosmic Cowgirls Magazine and other articles and projects.
Creation - Opportunities to be an author or editor on a book or journal and for involvement in other projects such as workshops through Cosmic Cowgirls University.
Support - Your work can be cultivated in a women's creative arena, including our developing marketplace. An opportunity to share who you are and what you create with a tribe of women committed to similar values and goals.
Platform - Established platform for marketing (stores/web-site/press contacts) your works. We already have a decade of experience in independent publishing, as well as hundreds of accounts who carry the Cosmic Cowgirls products in the United States and Canada.

Note: Depending on project level, several items listed in the benefits have additional costs involved. For example, editing, and web-site hosting are not free of charge, but member-owners have access to these resources through our network.
What Happens After I Sign UP as a member?
Once you have made your payment (refundable) all Member-Owner sign-ups are pending approval after a phone conversation with one of our team members. We will call you within two weeks. If for any reason, either of us chooses it is not a satisfactory fit, you will receive a full refund!
Begin receiving e-mails and interacting with other CCI members around projects and ideas.
After one year, if we find we both want to move forward you will be invited to join us a the Member Owner Level.
$200 Active Member Registration - which you already paid - We are a owner/membership based company, awarding one Member-Owner interest (transferable to female heir of your choice). Join the Legacy - Create a lasting gift for future generations for women in your family line.
$75 Per Year Active Member Dues - ($6.50 per month on payment plan), to cover administration and maintenance associated with your membership, which includes legal filing and tax preparation.
Financial - In a given year, when we make money you will receive compensation, and in the event that we lose money, you will be able to claim a loss on your taxes. There will never be ghost income reporting.
Regarding the Owner/Membership Fee and Dues - The focus of our work is to print art and books that bless the women and girls of the world, while growing a woman owned organization. Women who join are looking for a member based relationship, much like a club, as opposed to a corporation, which is why we are set up as an LLC with members instead of share holders. While a part of our bigger picture is to create revenues based on profits for our Member-Owners, the initial focus is to put the money into our projects. Member-Owners are compensated in other ways for efforts and contributions to projects. There are lots of ways to make money with the CCI company, and a list of options will be provided upon request. While we have the heart of a non-profit, we want to be abundance based in our philosophy and business practices and therefore do not choose to be not-for-profit. So if you are joining in hopes of immediate revenue returns from CCI profits, this is not for you. If you want to become part of a revolutionary project, and contribute your gifts, resources, ideas and presence, then we hope you will consider us. Contributing members who are part of projects are compensated for our work. This is a network of women, so you will have many opportunities to share your life work and learn more ways to make money with products and services.
What happens after I sign up as an OWNER? First we celebrate! And do the YAHHOOO DANCE!
The Operating Agreement and the Declaration of Investor will be sent to you which states you are willing and able to "lose" your investment if the company is not able to continue operating. This protects us and you!
Then you will receive a Member Owner Certificate with your CCI number. You will come up with a COSMIC COWGIRLS "handle" and you are encouraged to create a CCI binder to put that in, as well as company updates from CCI.
Business Practices for Owner Members
E-Mail: Business is conducted via e-mail, Member-Owners must check in quarterly for company updates. On-line signature forms will be needed from time to time. Non-compliance with e-mail systems equals a non-vote. U.S mail system members will have the option of paying an additional $50 per year to receive communication via U.S. mail.
Taxes: Member-Owners are responsible for paying taxes on LLC income which they have received. The LLC will send a K1 with earnings or losses to each member annually. Losses, or pass through taxation may be reported or not.
CCI requests, but does not require, that active members purchase one book a year as available from our publications, in particular when we publish a new book.
Non-Active: A Member-Owner may choose to become non-active, non-voting for periods of time. This is a good option for folks who know they want to be in, but cannot or do not choose to participate at certaiun times. Details provided upon request.
An LLC stand for Limited Liability Company, which means that our personal assets are never in jeopardy a a result of being a Member-Owner.
Palm of Her Hand is a sub-brand, or label of Cosmic Cowgirl Ink that represents a line of products created by the membership.
The LLC is run by an Operating Agreement designed to evolve under the auspices of our company lawyer. The OA outlines operational procedures for company conduct. It can be viewed by members on-line at all times (except during website revision processes). The financial books from year to year will be available on-line to all members.
