Dear Wild Women and Wonder Girls!
I have a vision and you are in it!
For years I have prayed for the bigger picture for this business and my lifework. And I have been asking myself some interesting questions!
How can this work go beyond me and extend out to more women over many
generations? How could the power of our own independent media transform women and girls view of themselves?
How can we, as women, claim our beauty, strength and possibility through our own stories? And how can I help women learn about being in business for themselves?
Then one fine day, I had a powerful vision driving down the road with my husband Isaiah. He suggested that we pray for guidance and ask about the future of this business. The answer came, and here it is! Cosmic Cowgirls!
A revolutionary woman and girl owned, nationwide independent membership based empowering media publishing house and university! For over ten years our organization has laid the foundation and done the research for this work. We have created journals, workshops and artwork for women's creative development.
We have plans for many journals including subjects like empowering teen girls, creating livelihood, surviving illness, death of a loved one, personal transformation, motherhood, divorce, recovery from addiction and so much more, all with stories from the women of the world! And you can be a part of it! Doesn't that sound exciting! I am ecstatic!
Color of Woman Journal and Coloring books have been published for over
eight years and have been used in so many inspiring, life altering ways. All
kinds of women: therapists, hair dressers, ministers, medicine women, mountain
mamas, grandmamas, little girls, midwives, pregnant mamas, shamans, nuns,
Buddhists, Christians, feminists, yoga teachers, state workers, homeless women,
recovering women, holy women, native american women in circle, full moon circles,
mothers and daughters, women suffering with bipolar, handicapped women, chefs,
dancers, musicians, divorced and widowed women, women making things happen,
survivors of abuse, cosmic cowgirls, waitresses, wild women, wonder girls, bank tellers,
business women, and all those who are ready for the next step and so much more!
Somehow, miraculously, the kind of creative exploration offered in the journals
works for so many women in so many walks of life. Let the work continue!
Blessings to you dear ones!
In Love and in Friendship, Shiloh
What do a housewife in Kentucky, a business exec in New York, a taxi driver in San Francisco, a checkout girl in Indiana, a nun in Wisconsin, an environmentalist in Oregon, a seamstress in Kansas, a teenage girl in Utah and artist in Mendocino have in common? We are all the sheroes of our own stories. We hope you will join your stories with ours. This is the moment for creating our herstory!!!
