You only need one shade of each color - but in some cases I have suggested two.

SURFACES
gallery style wrapped canvas 3X4
140 lb. watercolor paper
and a few other size canvases for practices

Spray bottle - fine mist
Liquitex Acrylic Medium
Rags/paper towels
Several jars for water
Staywet hand palette (optional)
A nice bin/box to hold everything, hopefully with handles.
Legendary Painter clothes - pick something you LIKE to wear, that you are willing
to get paint on.
Easel (optional)
A Table - fold up covered with paper or plastic
Drop cloth or rug for the floor
Light - direct and indirect
A plant or two
A candle, a mirror, a little altar
